Design of new industrial equipment

We were very pleased to be closely involved in the design of a new range of industrial equipment for the Parker Hannifin Corporation. The AC30 series of variable speed drives represents a new modular approach for the company, with a design driven by the need to keep the product simple to use and inexpensive to operate.

In addition to developing the design of the range, Crucible also helped Parker manage the process of building show models and exhibition stands, ensuring that all deadlines were met for the international launch. Ian Timms, Parker Realisation Team Manager, comments:

“Working closely with our engineers, the designers at Crucible carefully reviewed the technical considerations & delivered a range of exciting concepts for our new range of controllers. They also designed the show stands & coordinated both model & stand manufacture for launch at the Nuremberg SPS show in November 2011. Crucible delivered a modern, stylish, practical design, within the Parker Brand Guidelines & played a major part in meeting the tight deadlines for its international launch”
